  1. Butter the cake tin and dust with maida
  2. seive maida , coco powder , baking powder
  3. Beat egg and sugar till fluffy
  4. To this add above dry ingredients n mix well and add to the cake tin and bake @180xb0 for 25 to 30 mins
  5. when cooled cut the cake in half then spread the choolate syrup then spread the whipping cream then layer it another slice of cake and spread the remaining cream all over and top with chocolate shavings
